Backend platform
Verification platform: from legacy to 300K processes per month
I designed an extensible platform from scratch, separating the verification domain model from orchestration and provider services. Temporal runs each stage of the process, PostgreSQL stores business state, and Kafka distributes events between independent services.
- Human-in-the-loop: manual review and document reload cycles
- Idempotency keys, transactional outbox and consistency at the database level
- 10+ FastAPI services, S3-compatible storage and Kubernetes
- Progressive rollout by geography with quick return to legacy
Document intelligence
Documents turn into work context
I built a pipeline for document extraction, OCR, translation, and summarization. It cut average processing time from five hours to 1.43 hours and delivered an estimated $945K in annual value.
Agentic engineering
Agents as part of the engineering cycle
A colleague and I built an internal harness that takes a task from planning through checks to a development environment. I led a cross-service AI code reviewer and build tools that bring together context from Sentry and Grafana.
